Yeah, I know, pretty random, right? I'm addicted to the Sims, and I finally got it for my phone. So, here's a guide.
Upgrades & Building
To upgrade your house or buy: Walk to the telephone hanging on the wall (should be near the kitchen) and click on it. Then click on Upgrade.
To sell/move furniture: Go to 'menu' >> 'Build' mode, and click on any of the furniture. Options will include moving, rotating, and selling.

To be able to activate the cooking game, you must first buy a stove from the Quickshop, (or intrude on someone else's house and borrow their stove). You must also have recipes. You can buy recipes from the Hobby Shop. Finally, you must have the ingredients needed for the recipe you plan to make.
To beat the cooking game, you must rub and scrub the 'floor'. Up and down, left and right. As far as I've seen, there is no foolproof pattern. Just rub away, making sure not to go diagonally (/).
Fishing To be able to fish, you must have a fishing kit, available at the Hobby Shop. Once done, go to the lake and follow the path down to the pond, where there will be a small green circle with the options 'Go Fishing'. This will bring up a horizontal meter with a fish going left and right. Pressing on the arrows (and I suggest using both hands), follow the fish with the anchor right above it, and slowly part of the bar will turn first orange, green, and then teal. Once it's teal, press on that part of the bar, right below the anchor, making sure not to let the fish get away while trying to press it.

Repairing You must have a repair kit, available at the Hobby Shop. Once you have that, click on the broken item and click 'Fix'. Now, this will bring up three interwoven circuits. Your job is to place the little tweezer on the right on the right line circuit and click on the one that has a little blue spark running through it. If you click on one that doesn't have a spark, once it reaches the brain circuit it will exit the game and tell you you have failed the game. Just try again.
FAQ's
Q: OMG! I vant vavies! So, can we make babies in Sims 3 mobile?
A: Unfortunately, you can't. But you can WOOHOO. Reasonably, of course, or else you kill yourself. True story.
Q: Lemme in! The pawn shop won't open! Why?
A: Complete all 75 wishes in the game (including each individual ones that certain characters' personas have). You do not have to complete all the wishes in each new game you played. Rather, the accumulative that you have gained over all your games will go towards your total goal of 75. Once you have, the pawn shop will open.
Q: What is the highest promotion you can get?
A: The highest promotion is vice-president. If you try to ask for more, the boss gets grumpy. And you never want the boss grumpy.
